About the Artist

Casey has always had a love and appreciation for the art of photography. She always has her camera in her hand at any situation.

Casey also owns a scrapbook store, Scrappies, in Palatka, FL. The two businesses tie really well together. Being a scrapbooker takes lots of creativity, patience, and talent, which are all used in Photography as well. It’s all about capturing and preserving your memories.

Through the photo’s that Casey takes she hopes to capture the personalities of her subjects and catch kids and families being real and not so staged and stiff. She loves outdoor photography and likes to use simple props and natural surroundings at backgrounds so the subject is not lost in the photo.

Casey was born and raised in Palatka, FL, and still lives on the family ranch with her husband Jeff and little yorkie, Kippy. She’s very family involved and loves living near her parents and nieces and nephew. Casey loves being from a small town and getting to know everyone. Becoming friends with customers is just a big perk of the job. Her business has grown through the years solely through word of mouth. This is a passion that will never get old to her; she started professionally right out of high school, during college, and nine years latter is still going strong and loving every minute of it. All of her success is completely owed to God and all the blessings He as given her.
